ST. LOUIS, Missouri (August 18th, 2021) – As seen on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank, Press Waffle Co. is now crankin’ out the "best waffles in the Lou" at the new City Foundry Food Hall.
The new food hall opened their doors on August 11th, and Press has already proven itself to be among the most popular concepts in the hall. “The response has been beyond our expectations” said Ryan Gasaway, the shops owner. “Half of the vendors in the hall have been selling out before the day is over, so we are definitely firing on all cylinders!”
Press specializes in fully customizable authentic Belgian waffles, in both sweet and savory varieties. Customers can build their own waffle from a selection of toppings or can order one of the favorite combinations like “The House” with fresh strawberries, Nutella, cookie butter, and whipped cream or the bestselling Chicken and Waffles with crispy deep fried tenders, bacon crumble, and maple syrup.
“The waffle is really the star of the show” said Jackie Gasaway the shop’s Co-Owner. “Everything we do goes on a Liége waffle which is this buttery dough based waffle with little clusters of Belgian pearl sugar in every bite. Definitely the best waffle you’ve ever had!”
Located at 3730 Foundry Way, Press is one of several exciting new restaurant concepts in the new City Foundry Food Hall. Current operating hours are 10:00am-9:00pm daily, with expanded morning and late-night hours on the weekends.
Although the new location marks the 6th shop for Press Waffle Co., it is the first shop for local owners Ryan and Jackie Gasaway. “From the moment we saw the concept, we knew that St. Louis had to have something like this” said Ryan. “We are thrilled to have the partnership with Press Waffle Co. and even more excited to be working alongside some of St. Louis’ best and brightest in the culinary scene.”
